For more than 35 years, Joni and Friends has accelerated Christian ministry in the disability community by meeting people’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in practical ways. Founded by Joni Eareckson Tada, the organization is on mission to communicate the Gospel and equip Christ-honoring churches worldwide to evangelize and disciple people affected by disabilities. From local neighborhoods to the far reaches of the World, Joni and Friends strives to demonstrate that God has not abandoned people with disabilities; rather He is with them providing love, hope and eternal salvation.

In 2014 Wheels for the World provided its 100,00th wheelchair and we are striving toward another 100,000 by 2020. Join our mission by donating a wheelchair, collecting mobility equipment in your community, or joining one of our Outreach teams. In addition to Wheels for the World, Joni and Friends’ ministry programs include Family Retreats, Church Relations, Radio and Television Programs, Response, International Outreach, and the Christian Institute on Disability.
