Clarkson Family Medicine (CFM) Residency is a close-knit, supportive residency program located in the heart of Omaha's underserved populations. It combines the relational closeness of a community based program with the benefits of a regional medical center--hence our graduates have great versatility to practice from local to Global, urban or rural. Clarkson Family Medicine also provides broad-scoped procedural training, to include colposcopy/GYN procedures, point of care ultrasound and spirometry, colonoscopy and esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), amongst the usual outpatient Family Medicine procedures. The residency includes a robust inpatient service that combines services with addiction medicine.
Clarkson also has a unique relationship with a local gospel rescue mission free clinic--where Nebraska Medicine, our sponsoring institution, facilitates a grant for medications and waives co-pays to coordinate chronic care needs with our clinic and specialty care.
Omaha is a hidden gem for opportunities to learn, a supportive community, and with a "top 5 best city in the US to live" (Papillion) minutes away from our teaching locations.
