Managing Physical Therapy Needs on the Mission Field

This program will cover the need for Physical Therapy in short and long term care situations as well as the availablity of Physical Therapists to supply those needs. This will include present opportunities for Physical Therapists for serve and methods for searching out proper organizations for that service. Some of the resources of the information for this workshop will be former seasoned Physical Therapist missionaries, those who have served for years in short and long term missions.
Objectives
Those attending will be presented with 1) Types of PT services most needed and most used. 2) Ways to find a location for serving. 3) Types of Physical Therapy specialty treatment needed 4) Ways to prepare for the experience of serving.
